1. Overview

Welcome to Competitor Patrol ("we," "our," "us"). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Competitor Patrol provides tools that monitor and analyse publicly available information about companies, brands, and digital presence.

2. Nature of the Service

Competitor Patrol provides indicative, directional, and best-effort insights based on publicly available data and automated analysis.

We do not guarantee completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any data.
Some data may be missing, outdated, or incorrect.
Monitoring may fail, be delayed, or be interrupted for technical or external reasons.
Insights are for informational purposes only — not professional, legal, or business advice.

You agree that you use all outputs at your own risk.

3. No Guarantee of Monitoring

While we aim to monitor competitor activities, we do not guarantee:

Continuous or uninterrupted monitoring
Detection of all relevant competitor actions
Real-time updates or alerts

There may be gaps due to website changes, platform restrictions (e.g. social media APIs), technical failures, or third-party limitations.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Competitor Patrol:

For unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purposes
To harass, stalk, or harm individuals or businesses
To violate any applicable laws or regulations
To reverse engineer, scrape, or copy our system or data at scale
To build a competing product using our data or platform

5. Data Sources

Competitor Patrol collects publicly accessible information in compliance with applicable laws, and relies on third-party sources. We do not control third-party content, are not responsible for the accuracy or legality of third-party data, and may change or remove data sources at any time.

6. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, and platform content (excluding third-party data) are owned by Competitor Patrol. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our platform, or use our branding without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Competitor Patrol shall not be liable for any business losses, lost profits or revenue, incorrect decisions made based on our data, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Competitor Patrol harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your misuse of the data or insights.

9. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, introduce new features or remove existing ones, and perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any downtime or disruptions.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or if we are required to do so for legal or operational reasons.
